SUMMARY
전형적인 미국 인더스트리얼 무드의 패션숍 SVRN이 국내 디자인 스튜디오 WGNB의 손을 빌려 한국적 헤리티지를 담은 공간으로 재탄생했다. WGNB는 사이트 내에서 강렬한 대비를 주기 위해 동양적인 무드를 선택하고, 자연과 인공, 즉 본능과 조형의 '관계'를 조명하는 이우환 작가의 <관계항> 등에서 디자인 콘셉트에 대한 영감을 얻었다. 물(物)로 대변되는 산업 사회의 원자재나 건축의 재료인 돌, 가공된 형태의 돌로 해석되는 철판의 관계는 '만들어져 있지 않은 세계'에 대한 궁금증을 불러일으키며 공간 속에서 묘한 긴장감을 유발한다.

The spatial design of the SVRN store began with our interpretation of the SVRN's brand identity and narrative through the eastern perspective. While the western perspective looks at the object itself, the eastern perspective rather focuses at the surrounding relationship of the object. WGNB believe these are the unique current and tension of SVRN, that fills the spatial 'white-space' of the store.
